United Nepalese of California has established partnerships with local nonprofit organizations in Sonoma County to expand community support services. These collaborations will enhance UNC's ability to provide family support referrals, educational resources, and cultural awareness programs. The partnerships reflect UNC's commitment to building cross-cultural friendships and strengthening positive relationships between Nepalese and American communities.

UNC is excited to launch our official website — a digital hub for the Nepalese community in California. The new platform features online membership registration, event listings and registration, a community news section, volunteer sign-up, and secure online donation capabilities. The website represents a major step in modernizing our community outreach and making UNC's programs accessible to all members across California.

UNC is pleased to announce the election of a new 21-member Executive Committee for the 2025–2027 term. Led by President Deepak Timsina, the team includes Senior Vice President Diksha Basnet, Vice President Deben Shrestha, General Secretary Raj Kumar Pandey, General Treasurer Prakash Hari Panthi, and dedicated coordinators, executive members, and an advisory panel. The new leadership is committed to advancing UNC's mission of cultural preservation, community support, and working toward a permanent Nepalese Cultural & Community Center.

United Nepalese of California is proud to announce that we have officially received 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status from the IRS (EIN: 39-3919914). This milestone allows all donations to UNC to be tax-deductible and strengthens our ability to serve the Nepalese community in California. This achievement is the result of months of dedicated work by our Executive Committee and marks a new chapter in UNC's journey toward building a permanent cultural and community center.

The Executive Committee of United Nepalese of California has unanimously adopted the organization's official bylaws. The comprehensive 22-page document outlines UNC's organizational structure, membership guidelines, election processes, and governance framework. The bylaws establish UNC as a California Non-Profit Public Benefit Organization with its main office in Sonoma County. This foundational document ensures transparency, accountability, and democratic governance for our growing community.
